ANNOUNCEMENT

As concerns over COVID-19 (Coronavirus) rapidly increase throughout the United States, the spread of the coronavirus has raised concerns about attending upcoming events, such as the Indian Health Service Annual Partnership Conference scheduled for mid-July.

At this time, the Partnership Conference is still over 4 months away and is currently scheduled to proceed as planned as we remain mindful of current travel related restrictions within your local areas.

We will actively and consistently communicate the status of the Partnership Conference as we work through this pandemic. We understand the seriousness of the coronavirus to vulnerable populations, while also recognizing the importance and benefits of this conference. If there are any changes, we will communicate those to you in a timely manner.

This is a rapidly evolving situation and we must be vigilant in our efforts to prevent the spread of infections within the communities that we serve. The federal government is working closely with state, local, tribal, and territorial partners, as well as with other public health partners, to respond to this pandemic. Ultimately, the health and safety within Indian Country is our top priority.

We thank you for your continued dedication to the IHS mission during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
